Erling Braut Haaland will reportedly demand for a release clause to be inserted into his contact if he joins a new club this summer.
The Borussia Dortmund marksman is set to be the subject of an intense transfer tussle between Europe's elite clubs, with Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid believed to be leading the race for his signature.
A previous report suggested Man City were closing in on a deal to sign the Norway international, while another has claimed that the 21-year-old would prefer a move to La Liga.
Any potential deal for one of Europe's top clubs to sign Haaland this summer could cost a staggering €250m, including the player's £64m release clause as well as his wages, bonuses and agent fees.
According to The Sun, Haaland will also request for a release clause to be written into his contract should he switch clubs ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Haaland, who is under contract at Westfalenstadion until June 2024, has scored 80 goals in as many games for Dortmund across all competitions, including 23 strikes in 21 appearances this season. body check tags ::
