Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has suggested that he is no rush to allow Oleksandr Zinchenko to leave the Etihad Stadium.
Reports have suggested that Zinchenko could move on from the Premier League champions this summer, with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and Fulham all interested in the Ukraine international.
However, due to the late return of a number of players who have featured at the World Cup and a failure to secure a replacement for Yaya Toure, Guardiola has indicated that the 21-year-old will remain in his pre-season plans.
In reference to central midfield, the Spaniard told reporters: "We will decide until the last day. We have Fernandinho and Ilkay Gundogan who can play in this position, and Aleks (Zinchenko) can also play there.
"There is also Fabian Delph, and we have one or two young guys."
Zinchenko started for City as they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in Chicago on Friday night.
