Manchester City have reportedly made contact with Rennes over a potential move for teenage sensation Eduardo Camavinga.
The 17-year-old Angolan-born midfielder has missed just two games for the French club this season, playing an influential part in their rise to third in the Ligue 1 table.
City are renowned for snapping up talented youngsters from around the world, and The Express reports that they are hoping to make Camavinga the next addition to their ranks.
The report states that Pep Guardiola's side have made contact with Julien Stephan's team over a potential move for the player but they will face competition from fellow European giants Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Camavinga moved to France with his family at the age of two and he made his debut for the French Under-21s last November.
