Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly preparing a move for Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero.
Malaga have struggled in the early part of their La Liga campaign, but the Argentine remains one of the most highly-rated goalkeepers in European football.
Pellegrini is well aware of Caballero's talents having coached the Spanish side last season and, according to Goal.com, a £12m move for the 32-year-old could be made in January.
Caballero, who is expected to travel with Argentina for the World Cup next summer, joined Malaga from Elche in 2011.
