Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Porto left-back Alex Sandro.
The 24-year-old joined Porto from Santos in 2011 and has quickly developed into one of the most in-demand full-backs in European football.
Sandro's teammate Danilo has been widely linked with a move from the Portuguese club, but it is understood that Sandro is attracting just as much interest.
According to O Jogo, Man City are competing with both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid for the Brazilian, who has six international caps to his name.
Man City are expected to splash the cash this summer in a bid to rebuild what is an ageing squad.
