Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has warned that his side were not at their best during this evening's 3-0 Champions League victory over Basel at Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho's side responded to their first dropped points of the Premier League season by getting back to winning ways on what was their first Champions League outing since December 2015.
Lukaku was amongst the scorers as the Red Devils eased to the top of Group A, but he insists that there is still a lot more to come from the team.
"After a slip up at Stoke we needed to bounce back with a win," he told BT Sport.
"The football wasn't great but we won. Defensively we are not conceding, it is a work in progress."
United's next Champions League game comes against CSKA Moscow in Russia on Wednesday, September 27.
