Manchester United manager David Moyes says the injury that forced striker Robin van Persie off during the team's win over Olympiacos does not look "that bad".

David Moyes has said that Robin van Persie's injury does not look "that bad" following Manchester United's Champions League win over Olympiacos this evening.

The striker scored a hat-trick as the Premier League champions came back from a 2-0 deficit after the first leg to progress to the quarter-finals.

The manager told reporters: "It doesn't look that bad, he's a had a knock in and around the knee area, on the back of his knee. He was great, not many people score a hat-trick in the Champions League."

The Dutchman was forced off in stoppage time after picking up the knock.
