Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has said that he is pleased with Memphis Depay's start to his career at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman joined the Premier League outfit from PSV Eindhoven in the summer and has scored twice in seven games for Man United.
Van Gaal has said that he is never fully satisfied with the performances of his players, but is of the opinion that Depay has made a positive start.
"As a manager, you are never satisfied, but he is doing well. He has played every game and it is not so easy. Of course he has to adapt to the high rhythm of the Premier League, but he shall improve," Van Gaal told reporters.
"I have to be patient with Memphis and the fans also have to be patient. You cannot demand consistency of young players and you have to accept that."
Man United return to the Champions League with a group match away to PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday evening.
