Granada vs. Man Utd (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Manchester United resume their quest for Europa League success on Thursday when they come up against Granada in the first leg of their quarter-final battle at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.

The Spanish surprise package dumped Molde out of the tournament to advance to the last eight, whereas Man United overcame AC Milan 2-1 on aggregate in the last 16.

We say: Granada 0-2 Manchester United

United cannot afford to start this game in the same way that they did against Brighton, but confidence cannot be high in the Granada camp after back-to-back league defeats. The hosts have earned their right to be here, although they are afflicted with numerous injuries and the Red Devils are renowned for their impressive performances on the road, so we can only back a comfortable first-leg triumph for Solskjaer's side.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Arsenal vs. Slavia Prague (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Arsenal will endeavour to get back on track in the Europa League when they welcome Slavia Prague to the Emirates Stadium for the first leg of their quarter-final clash on Thursday evening.

The Gunners scraped a 3-2 aggregate victory over Olympiacos to book their spot in the last eight, whereas Slavia Prague dumped Rangers out of the tournament, but that tie was overshadowed by controversy.

We say: Arsenal 2-1 Slavia Prague

Arsenal will undoubtedly want to do right by their former player Kamara this week, although nothing has been proven yet, and Arteta knows that it is Europa League or bust given their torrid league fortunes. The visitors command respect given their remarkable unbeaten run, but the Gunners will be out for blood against a ravaged Slavia defence and their teenage goalkeeper, so we are backing Arsenal to claim a narrow first-leg win, albeit without a clean sheet once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Ajax vs. Roma (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Dutch champions Ajax meet Serie A side Roma in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final on Thursday, pitting together two of the grander names in continental football.

The clubs convene at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, seeking an advantage to take into next week's return in Rome - with the hosts 90 minutes away from a record-equalling 11th successive home win in the competition and the visitors having won all four matches in this year's knockout phase.

We say: Ajax 2-2 Roma

The final representatives of their respective nations in Europe this season are both committed to attacking principles and could potentially serve up a feast of football during the next week.

Roma's deficiencies at the back have not been helped by a rotating cast of defenders visiting the physio's table, so they will find it tough to resist free-scoring Ajax - particularly away from their Stadio Olimpico stronghold.

While the hosts' air of invincibility on home turf may be threatened by the Italian side's incisive incursions in the final third, a score draw would set up a mouthwatering return leg in Rome.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Dinamo Zagreb vs. Villarreal (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Dinamo Zagreb and Villarreal face off at Stadion Maksimir on Thursday evening in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie.

The Croatian side stunned Tottenham Hotspur in the last round to advance, while Villarreal proved too strong for Dynamo Kiev in both legs.

We say: Dinamo Zagreb 0-1 Villarreal

Zagreb pulled off an incredible upset in the last round and have won eight games in a row on home soil in all competitions, four of those in Europe.

However, Villarreal have won nine and drawn one of their 10 European games this term and are experienced when it comes to this stage of the tournament, so we are backing them to take an advantage into the second leg.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.
