Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo could be welcomed back to the starting lineup for Thursday's Europa League Group E clash with Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.
The 37-year-old has been predominantly used off the bench by Erik ten Hag so far this season after ultimately failing to force a move away from the club in the summer transfer window.
However, Ronaldo is now in line to feature in the first XI after Marcus Rashford - the two-goal hero against Arsenal - was withdrawn late on against the Gunners as a precaution.
The Red Devils are expected to be without Facundo Pellistri and Anthony Martial for the contest, while Brandon Williams is also injured but has not made the squad either way.
Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will both need assessing due to knocks, but Luke Shaw was able to make the bench at the weekend and could now come in for a start over Tyrell Malacia.
Diogo Dalot should hold his place on the right with Wan-Bissaka a doubt, and after Lisandro Martinez came off with a muscular issue against Arsenal, Harry Maguire could now join Raphael Varane in front of debutant Martin Dubravka.
Fred and his compatriot Casemiro are both in with strong chances of earning starts in midfield for the Red Devils, who should persist with Bruno Fernandes in his number 10 role as Christian Eriksen enjoys a rest.
Antony will not want to be dropped after marking his debut with the opening goal against Arsenal, but Anthony Elanga will hope to earn an opportunity over Jadon Sancho on the left.
Man United possible starting lineup: Dubravka; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Casemiro, Fred; Antony, Fernandes, Elanga; Ronaldo
