Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of their FA Cup fourth-round clash with Reading on Saturday.
Sports Mole

Manchester United welcome Reading to Old Trafford for a fourth-round encounter in the FA Cup on Saturday night.

The Red Devils have one foot in the EFL Cup final after securing a 3-0 away victory against Nottingham Forest in the first leg of their semi-final on Wednesday, courtesy of strikes from Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst and Bruno Fernandes.

Erik ten Hag is sure to have one eye on next week's second leg, but he and his side must now turn their attention to the FA Cup for Saturday's clash with Championship opposition in the form of Reading, who are managed by former Man United midfielder Paul Ince.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with the Royals.

Diogo Dalot

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Nottingham Forest)

Diogo Dalot has missed Man United's last four matches due to a hamstring injury and the right-back has been ruled out of Saturday's contest.

Donny van de Beek

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Donny van de Beek sustained a knee injury in the win over Bournemouth at the beginning of this month and the midfielder has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Axel Tuanzebe

Status: Out
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: Unknown

Axel Tuanzebe has recently returned to training after a lengthy spell out with a back problem, but Ten Hag has confirmed that it will "take weeks" before the defender is considered for selection.

Jadon Sancho

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Fitness
Possible return date: January 28 (vs. Reading)

Ten Hag has confirmed that Jadon Sancho has returned to team training this week and the winger could be selected in the matchday squad for the first time since October.

Anthony Martial

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Leg
Possible return date: January 28 (vs. Reading)

Anthony Martial picked up a leg injury in the Manchester derby two weeks ago and the French forward is doubtful for the visit of Reading.

Luke Shaw

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: January 28 (vs. Reading)

Luke Shaw missed the win over Nottingham Forest due to illness and the left-back is a major doubt for Saturday's fixture.

MANCHESTER UNITED's SUSPENSION LIST

Man United have no suspended players for this match, with Harry Maguire returning from a one-game ban served in the win over Nottingham Forest.
