Manchester United will be bidding to win the FA Cup for the 13th time in their history when they take on Manchester City in the final of the competition on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils posted their worst-ever Premier League finish of eighth in 2023-24, but they would qualify for the group stage of next season's Europa League with an FA Cup triumph.

Man United will enter the clash with the Premier League title winners off the back of a 2-0 success over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Man City, who only have one player out of the final at this stage.

Mason Mount

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: May 25 (vs. Man City)

Mount has missed Man United's last three matches with an unspecified injury problem, but the Englishman is back in training and is set to return to the squad for the FA Cup final.

Harry Maguire

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Maguire missed the end of the Premier League season due to a muscular problem, and the centre-back has also been ruled out of this contest.

Victor Lindelof

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: May 25 (vs. Man City)

Lindelof has been absent with a hamstring issue since the end of March, but the Sweden international returned to training last week and should make the squad for Saturday's contest.

Tyrell Malacia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Malacia is bidding to recover from a knee injury which has required two separate operations, and the Dutchman will not be available for Man United until next season.

Anthony Martial

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: May 25 (vs. Man City)

Martial, who underwent a groin operation in January, recently returned to team training, and he is an option for head coach Ten Hag this weekend.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw will miss out on a spot in the squad for the FA Cup final due to a muscular problem, while the left-back is also a doubt to represent England at Euro 2024.
