Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has hinted that David de Gea will not be sidelined for too long.
The Spanish goalkeeper picked up a knee injury during the warm-up ahead of last Thursday's Europa League tie against FC Midtjylland.
The complaint kept De Gea out of this evening's 3-0 win over Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup, but while Van Gaal suggested that he could return to action in the near future, he added that this week's return fixture with the Danes may come too soon.
"It's not so heavy but we'll have to wait and see if he can start on Thursday," he told reporters.
During the victory away at the Shrews, United also lost the services of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson and Will Keane to injuries.
