Manchester United could be without the services of as many as nine players for their next match after the international break, which comes against Everton at Goodison Park.

The Red Devils recorded a 1-0 win over Luton Town in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, with Victor Lindelof netting the only goal of the contest in the second period.

Man United have now been victorious in four of their last five league games, with the recent strong form in England's top flight moving them up to sixth position in the table.

Erik ten Hag's side are only five points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur and seven off division leaders Manchester City, and they will be aiming to make it three straight league wins at Everton on November 26.

The Red Devils could be missing as many as nine players for the clash, though, with Rasmus Hojlund and Christian Eriksen the latest individuals to suffer problems.

Hojlund, who is the team's leading goalscorer this season with five, was forced off in the latter stages of the 1-0 win over Luton with an apparent hamstring problem.

Eriksen, meanwhile, suffered a knee issue in the first half of the game match, and both players have now withdrawn from the Denmark squad for their final two Euro 2024 qualification games.

Man United are yet to provide an official update on the duo, but they are seen as major doubts for the trip to Everton, while another seven players are also set to be absent.

Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez will not feature this side of Christmas, with the former recently picking up a hamstring issue, while the latter is recovering from a second foot operation of the year.

Jonny Evans is also out for a number of weeks due to a thigh problem that he sustained in the Champions League clash with Copenhagen last week.

Left-backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are also still out with muscular and knee problems respectively, with the duo not expected to be available for selection until December.

Amad Diallo has also not played this season due to a knee problem, while Jadon Sancho is still not involved with the first team due to his high-profile falling-out with Ten Hag.

As a result, Man United could be missing nine players for the clash with Everton, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka should have recovered from the illness that forced him to miss out against Luton.

The Red Devils will also not have their manager on the touchline at Goodison Park, as Ten Hag will serve a suspension, having picked up a third yellow card of the campaign against Luton. body check tags ::
