Manchester United have been handed an injury boost after scans on Marcus Rashford's ankle injury are not as serious as first feared.
The 23-year-old limped off after 70 minutes in United's 2-0 victory over rivals Manchester City at the weekend, following a collision with Riyad Mahrez.
There were initial fears that the England international had suffered ligament damage, but those concerns have reportedly been played down and he is only suffering from "swelling and bruising".
However, the Daily Telegraph reports that Rashford could still face a spell on the sidelines as he is having trouble putting weight on the injured left ankle.
It is unclear as to how long the forward will be ruled out for but he is unlikely to feature in United's Europa League last 16 encounter with Italian giants AC Milan this Thursday.
Rashford has made 43 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign, scoring 18 goals and providing 12 assists.
