Manchester United will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins when they host Crystal Palace in the third round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils managed to end a three-game losing run by beating Burnley 1-0 in the Premier League on Saturday, with Bruno Fernandes netting the only goal of the contest.

Erik ten Hag's side will now begin the defence of their EFL Cup title with a home fixture against a fellow Premier League outfit.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Palace, who drew 0-0 with Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw suffered a muscular problem in the recent defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, and the England international is not expected to be back on the field until November.

Mason Mount

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: September 26 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Mount has missed Man United's last five games due to the injury that he suffered in the two-goal loss at Tottenham, but he is expected to be back in the squad for this match.

Tyrell Malacia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Malacia is still on the sidelines due to a muscular problem, with the Netherlands international not expected back until the end of next month at the earliest.

Lisandro Martinez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: September 26 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Martinez was left out against Burnley due to a foot problem which is proving difficult to overcome, and the Argentine remains a major doubt for this contest.

Amad Diallo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Amad is still unavailable for selection due to a knee injury that he picked up during pre-season, with the Ivory Coast international likely to be missing until next month.

Kobbie Mainoo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Mainoo has been out due to an ankle problem that he suffered during pre-season, but he is back in individual training and should soon be available to return to action.

Harry Maguire

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: September 26 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Maguire has missed Man United's last two matches due to a minor injury that he suffered in training, but the centre-back could be back in the squad for this game.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: Unknown

Wan-Bissaka is facing a spell on the sidelines with a muscular problem, and it is unclear when the right-back will be available for selection once again, but there have been suggestions that he will be missing until late November.

Sergio Reguilon

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: September 26 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Reguilon came off late on against Burnley due to illness, but he also appeared to be holding his hamstring, so the defender is a doubt for the clash with Palace.

MANCHESTER UNITED SUSPENSION LIST

Man United will not technically be missing any players through suspension, but Antony will again be absent, as the Brazilian is taking a leave of absence to deal with a personal issue.

Jadon Sancho will also not play at Old Trafford on Tuesday, with the forward training away from the main group due to his fall-out with Ten Hag earlier this month.
