Manchester United's Michael Carrick has described his side's second-half showing against West Ham United in the quarter-finals of the League Cup as "comfortable".
The midfielder expressed his disappointment at the Red Devils' finishing in the first period, but praised his teammates for rallying with three goals after the break.
"We were disappointed with how we finished the first half and frustrated we let the control of the game go. It was nice to come out in the second half and finish the game off comfortably," he told Sky Sports News.
"We are creating good chances but things are not going for us. They had half a chance and scored from it. Credit for the boys who killed it off."
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Anthony Martial both bagged braces against the Hammers to help United set up a semi-final showdown with Hull City.
