Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has admitted that scoring his first competitive goal for the club is a "dream come true".
The 19-year-old netted the second of the Red Devils' 3-0 win over Ipswich Town at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
Wayne Rooney and summer signing Anthony Martial also contributed with goals as the Premier League giants booked their place in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.
"I asked Juan [Mata] for the ball and he gave it to me," Pereira told MUTV. "We've been practising together and he trusted me.
"It's very special for me to score my first goal, a free kick at the Stretford End as well. It's just like a dream come true. I'm very happy for my family, for impressing my manager and doing well for my club."
The teenager signed a new contract at United in May.
