Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has indicated that Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial could feature against Nottingham Forest in Wednesday's EFL Cup semi-final second leg.
Martial was forced off at half time of the Manchester derby earlier this month and has subsequently missed United's last four matches through injury.
Sancho has not featured for the club since October 22, after undergoing an individual programme to improve his physical and mental readiness.
However, he recently rejoined first-team training and is set to make his long-awaited return to the matchday squad.
In his pre-match press conference, Ten Hag revealed that Martial and Sancho could both be involved in the second leg at Old Trafford, although Scott McTominay remains sidelined.
Ten Hag told reporters: "We have some issues, I think tomorrow that Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho will return in the game squad, but Scott McTominay will still be absent.
"I think also the next game [against Crystal Palace] he will be absent. We have to see how that process will go. And for the rest, I think everyone is fit."
Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw could also miss out for the Red Devils due to injury and illness respectively, while Donny van de Beek is a long-term injury absentee.
Man United will be unable to call upon Christian Eriksen, who has been ruled out for at least three months after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday's 3-1 FA Cup win over Reading.
The Red Devils have one foot in the EFL Cup final, after cruising to a comfortable 3-0 victory at the City Ground in the first leg.
