Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named Jadon Sancho in his starting XI for Wednesday's EFL Cup third-round clash against West Ham United at Old Trafford.

Sancho dropped to the bench for Sunday's Premier League match against the Hammers but is back in the starting side for the League Cup contest in Manchester.

Solskjaer has made 11 changes from the weekend, with Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata among those to earn spots in the side.

Anthony Martial, meanwhile, is given the chance to lead the line in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, who is not in the squad for the cup fixture against David Moyes's side.

Diogo Dalot and Nemanja Matic also featured in a rotated team, while Henderson makes his first outing of the campaign, having finally overcome coronavirus.

Bruno Fernandes and Mason Greenwood are among those on the bench, while there is also a spot in the squad for Phil Jones.

Manchester United starting XI: Henderson; Dalot, Lindelof, Bailly, Telles; Matic, Van de Beek; Lingard, Mata, Sancho; Martial
