Sergio Aguero will be aiming to equal a Premier League record currently held by Wayne Rooney when Manchester City face Chelsea on Saturday evening.
The Argentina international has scored 182 Premier League goals for the Citizens, which is one short of the record for most goals for a single club in England's top flight, currently held by Rooney (183) for Manchester United.
The 32-year-old will be leaving Pep Guardiola's side on a free transfer this summer when his contract expires, and Barcelona are said to lead the race for his signature.
Aguero has been restricted to just 17 appearances in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign, with only 10 of those arriving in the Premier League, where he has scored twice.
The South American was on the scoresheet in Man City's last league game against Crystal Palace, though, and potentially has four matches to equal or indeed break Rooney's record.
Man City would win this season's Premier League title if they overcome Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.
