Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has insisted that he is not in need of a rest.
The French full-back has featured in 19 of United's 20 Premier League matches this season, including all three fixtures over the festive period so far.
With Wigan Athletic next up on Tuesday, the 31-year-old is adamant that he is still in good shape and is eager to play.
"I always say to myself that I am lucky to play a lot of games and until I can't run, I will ask the boss to play," Evra told MUTV.
"If he thinks I need to rest then I will have a rest but I just want to keep going and I will rest when I retire - that's the name of my game."
Evra has made a total of 314 appearances for United since he arrived from Monaco in 2006.
