Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has blasted the decision of Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari not to name club teammate Rafael da Silva in the Brazil squad for next month's friendly against England.
Rafael, 21, has been one of the club's star performers this season, with Ferdinand branding the Brazilian the best right-back in the Premier League and Champions League.
"Just seen Rafael Da Silva is not in the Brazil squad... best right back in the premier league + CL this season... hungry and improving," Ferdinand tweeted.
However, former Barcelona playmaker Ronaldinho has been recalled for February's clash at Wembley.
