Figures within the world of football have paid tribute to Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs following his decision to retire from playing.
It was confirmed on Monday that the 40-year-old would be hanging up his boots at Old Trafford to take up the role as assistant manager to new United boss Louis van Gaal.
Giggs, who started playing professionally in 1990, finishes his career having won 34 major trophies.
