Manchester United boss David Moyes has quelled suggestions that Robin van Persie could miss the remainder of their pre-season tour with an injury.
The Dutchman, who was replaced during the club's 3-2 defeat to Yokohama F Marinos on Tuesday, suffered a twinge in his thigh, but Moyes has insisted that his withdrawal was precautionary.
"Robin felt his thigh in the first half. We didn't want to take any chances," Moyes told MUTV.
Van Persie scored 30 goals in 48 games for United last season.
