Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has challenged the squad to bounce back from last week's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea when they travel to Everton on Sunday.
Victory for United at Goodison Park will take them back up to second in the Premier League table, and Rooney wants to respond to the Stamford Bridge setback with a win against his former club.
He told Sky Sports News: "The most important thing is the game today, to come here and get the three points. We're obviously disappointed to lose last week, so it's time to get back on a winning run.
"We're playing very well at the minute, we're confident and obviously I felt we deserved something from the game last week, but that's football and we have to go and play the way we know we can today.
"[Everton are] a club that is close to my heart, but I'm here as a Manchester United player and I'm here to get the points."
