Inter Milan have reportedly struck an agreement with Manchester United to bring unwanted defender Matteo Darmian to San Siro on a free transfer.
The Italian, who joined United in 2014, has only made 14 Premier League appearances over the last two campaigns at Old Trafford.
Darmian was not in the squad for United's 4-0 win over Chelsea on Sunday and has not played any part in the club's pre-season.
According to Rai Sport, Inter have given Darmian a way out of Old Trafford after securing an agreement with United to take the defender on a free transfer once his contract expires next summer.
The Serie A side have already negotiated a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku from United in this window, with the striker joining for a club-record £73m.
Juventus have also been linked with signing Darmian, while Barcelona were also credited with showing an interest in the 29-year-old.
