Romelu Lukaku scored four times on his debut for Inter Milan against Serie D outfit Virtus Bergamo.
The Belgium international, who has been handed the number nine shirt by the Italian giants, completed a move to San Siro last week, with Manchester United sanctioning the move on transfer deadline day.
The 26-year-old did not play a single minute of United's preparations for the 2019-20 campaign but the centre-forward featured for his new club on Sunday, finding the back of the net on four separate occasions in what proved to be an 8-0 win for Antonio Conte's side.
Lukaku scored 27 times during a successful first season at Old Trafford but found it difficult to contribute last term, managing just 12 Premier League goals.
Inter, who have won each of their last three friendlies on penalties following 1-1 draws, will start their new Serie A campaign at home to Lecce on August 26.
