West Ham United players are reportedly happy that the club decided to pull out of a deal to sign Darren Fletcher during the last transfer window.
The Scot travelled down to London for a medical with the Hammers, but returned to Manchester United when no contract could be agreed.
It is thought that many of Sam Allardyce's squad were initially happy with the prospect of the midfielder moving to Upton Park and adding quality to the squad.
However, The Mirror claims that some of West Ham's players were shocked at the amount of money being offered to Fletcher.
After the collapse of the deal with the Hammers, Fletcher agreed to join West Bromwich Albion.
