Inter Milan could turn their attentions towards Juventus' Paulo Dybala, with club chiefs reportedly seeing him as an alternative to Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez.

Antonio Conte's side have been keen to bring Sanchez to Serie A, but the 29-year-old's £500,000-a-week wages could prove to be an insurmountable stumbling block for the move.

According to Il Giornale, talks have taken place between Inter and Dybala as a potential backup option.

The Argentine had been strongly linked with both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, with the player's image rights believed to be the primary reason that his move to Spurs broke down on the final day of the Premier League transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing Dybala and are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old's situation at Juventus.

The former Palermo youngster scored a sumptuous chip as Juventus defeated Triestina 1-0 in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
