Manchester United are reportedly in discussions with Real Betis over a move for Junior Firpo.
The 22-year-old struggled with injury during the 2018-19 campaign but still made 29 appearances for Betis in all competitions, contributing three goals and five assists.
Manchester City and Real Madrid have both previously been linked with the left-back.
However, according to AS, United are in talks with Betis over a deal which could cost the Red Devils between £22m and £26m.
Firpo is believed to have a £43m release clause in his current deal, which is due to expire in June 2023, placing his Spanish club in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.
The former Spain Under-21 international only made his first-team debut for Los Verdiblancos in 2018.
