Aaron Wan-Bissaka could reportedly undergo his Manchester United medical next week ahead of a move to Old Trafford.
United are believed to have made a breakthrough in negotiations for the Crystal Palace defender, who has been in action for England's Under-21 side at the European Championships this summer.
The Red Devils will reportedly pay an initial £42.5m for the right-back, although the deal could eventually reach as much as £55m with various performance-based add-ons.
According to Football Insider, the fact that England's Under-21s have been eliminated from this summer's competition means that the defender could undergo his medical with United as soon as next week.
Should Wan-Bissaka move to Old Trafford then he would become the club's second summer signing following the arrival of Daniel James from Swansea City.
The 21-year-old made 35 appearances for Roy Hodgson's side during the 2018-19 campaign.
