Mame Biram Diouf has revealed that he is keen on a loan move away from Manchester United in a bid to improve his match sharpness.
The Senegalese striker has started just one match for the Red Devils this season, a Carling Cup fixture away at Leeds United.
The 23-year-old has accepted that he is not currently in Sir Alex Ferguson's plans and would prefer a temporary move away from Old Trafford.
"It is not easy for me, but to be honest unless you are Messi or Ronaldo you are not going to get in the attack of Manchester United," he told Sky Sports News.
"Sometimes you have a winner of the Golden Ball (Michael Owen) or last season's top scorer (Dimitar Berbatov) not even on the bench, in the last game the striker substitutes were Rooney and Hernandez.
"I will keep on fighting and see, going on a loan to play regularly would benefit both parties."
Diouf spent last season on loan with Blackburn Rovers.
