Manchester United have reportedly been handed a boost in their efforts to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Premier League giants have been linked with a number of players who can play in the middle of the park, including Milinkovic-Savic who could be ready to take on a new challenge at a bigger club.
A report earlier this month suggested that Lazio were looking to receive in the region of £90m for the Serbia international, knowing that a bidding war could take place for his signature.
However, according to Calciomercato, the Serie A team are now willing to entertain offers of £70m for the 24-year-old in the coming weeks.
The development is likely to interest United at a time when they are considering whether to sign Sporting Lisbon's Bruno Fernandes, as well as contemplating the future of Paul Pogba.
Milinkovic-Savic has spent the last four years at Lazio, contributing a total of 22 goals from 125 appearances in Italy's top flight.
