Aston Villa are reportedly bracing themselves for January bids from Manchester City and Manchester United for captain Jack Grealish.
Speculation surrounding Grealish's future was rife in the summer amid reported interest from the Red Devils, but the England international elected to stay put at Villa and pen a new long-term deal with the club.
Grealish has since been instrumental in Villa's strong start to the season with five goals and seven assists in 12 Premier League appearances, and the attacker continues to be linked with a move elsewhere despite committing his future to Dean Smith's side only a few months ago.
According to The Mirror, United and City are both set to make contact with Villa in January over a possible move for Grealish, but the West Midlands outfit are highly unlikely to sanction a sale midway through the season.
The report claims that Villa may find it harder to keep hold of Grealish in the summer transfer window, though, with the 25-year-old potentially in line for a £200k-a-week deal should he move to one of the Manchester clubs.
Villa are said to value their talisman at £100m, with Grealish tied down to his boyhood club until 2025.
