Manchester United have reportedly ruled out the prospect of completing a deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen over the January transfer window.
The Dane's contract expires at the end of this season and he will not sign an extension with the North London club, making him a free agent in June.
Reports have suggested that several clubs are interested in doing a January deal for Eriksen, with Inter Milan, United and Juventus all linked with the player.
According to Sky Sports News, however, United have no interest in making a move for the midfielder this month.
Other sources claim that Inter boss Antonio Conte has vetoed a move for Eriksen in favour of completing the transfer of Barcelona's Arturo Vidal.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are said to have turned their attention towards signing Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek this month.
