Manchester United have reportedly turned their attentions to signing Thomas Meunier from Paris Saint-Germain after being priced out of a move for Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
United are in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer and are particularly keen to bolster their full-back ranks due to Antonio Valencia's impending departure.
Wan-Bissaka had been earmarked as one of the Red Devils' top targets following a breakthrough campaign with Palace, but the Eagles reportedly want as much as £70m for the 21-year-old.
Ed Woodward is unwilling to meet that valuation, and the Daily Mail claims that he has instead switched his focus to PSG's Meunier.
The 27-year-old only has one year remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes and could be available for just £25m this summer.
Meunier would prefer to stay in the French capital for at least the remainder of his contract, but talks over an extension have so far proved fruitless and the Ligue 1 champions could look to cash in on the Belgian.
The player joined PSG in 2016 and has gone on to make more than 100 appearances for the club across all competitions.
