Manchester United manager David Moyes has confirmed that midfielder Anderson will be joining Fiorentina on loan.

Reports emerged overnight claiming that the Brazilian had agreed a move to the Italian outfit.

The 25-year-old has been allowed to leave the club on a temporary basis having made just four Premier League appearances this season.

Moyes said in a press conference: "We've not been able to get him as many games as he'd have hoped."

Anderson, who moved to Old Trafford in 2007 from Porto, is said to have been in Italy today to undergo a medical.
