Real Madrid have decided that they will not appeal to FIFA after missing the deadline to complete the signing of Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
The two clubs agreed a fee to send the Spaniard to the La Liga side, with Keylor Navas heading in the opposite direction, but the paperwork was not submitted by 11pm yesterday, which was the Spanish league's transfer cut-off.
Ahead of a press conference from club president Florentino Perez, it was reported that an appeal will not be lodged, while UEFA confirmed on Twitter that De Gea will "100% remain a Manchester United player".
De Gea has not featured for United this season while the transfer situation remained unclear.
