AC Milan are reportedly planning to make a move for Manchester United outcast Bastian Schweinsteiger in the January transfer window.
The German World Cup winner was booted out of the squad when Jose Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal as manager in the summer and has not played a single minute for the Red Devils this season.
Recent reports have claimed that the 32-year-old has even been banned from playing in the reserve team as the club try to offload the former Bayern Munich star.
According to Calciomercato, Milan believe that Schweinsteiger still has plenty to offer on the pitch as they intend to make an approach for the midfielder when the transfer window reopens in the winter.
Schweinsteiger, who won 22 trophies at Bayern, joined United in the summer of 2015 for a reported £6.5m fee.
