Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is reportedly willing to consider a move to Atletico Madrid during this summer's transfer window.
The 33-year-old has again been in strong form for his German club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 39 times and registering three assists in 33 appearances in all competitions.
Lewandowski has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Allianz Arena, though, and a recent report claimed that he is yet to be approached over a possible extension.
There have been suggestions that the Poland international could move on this summer in search of pastures new, and Real Madrid and Manchester United have both been linked with his services.
Real Madrid, though, are said to be prioritising moves for Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, and Lewandowski is said to be keen to switch to La Liga rather than the Premier League, potentially ruling Man United out of the running.
According to El Chiringuito, the desire of the striker, and his family, to move to Spain means that he could consider a transfer to reigning Spanish champions Atletico.
Lewandowski has scored 333 goals and registered 68 assists in 362 appearances for Bayern in all competitions since joining the club from Borussia Dortmund in July 2014. body check tags ::
