Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of signing Penarol youngster Facundo Pellistri.
The Red Devils have thus far only acquired Donny van de Beek during this summer's transfer window, but Edinson Cavani is poised to become their second signing on an initial one-year deal.
According to Uruguayan journalist Sebas Giovanelli, though, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have also secured a deal for Pellistri, who will join the English giants before Monday's transfer deadline.
The fee for the teenager will allegedly be in the region of €10m (£9m), with United beating a host of clubs to the 18-year-old, who has scored twice in 37 appearances for his current side in all competitions.
Pellistri, who debuted for Penarol at the age of 17, will reportedly pen a five-year contract at Old Trafford.
Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City are just three of the clubs to be previously credited with an interest in the right-sided attacker.
