West Ham United have reportedly come to an agreement with Sassuolo over Gianluca Scamacca.

The 23-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Paris Saint-Germain thought to have been in discussions with his representatives over a move.

However, West Ham have seemingly moved to the head of the queue for his signature, and according to Sky Sports News, the Hammers have agreed a £35.5m fee with Sassuolo.

The report claims that David Moyes's side are now discussing personal terms with Scamacca, who excelled for Sassuolo in Serie A during the 2021-22 campaign.

The forward found the back of the net on 16 occasions in 36 appearances in Italy's top flight, with his form believed to have attracted the attention of a number of clubs.

Meanwhile, Everton have reportedly been in touch with Norwich City to discuss a possible deal for Max Aarons during this summer's transfer window.

The right-back is widely expected to leave the Canaries in the current market following their drop back into the Championship, with a number of clubs believed to be keeping an eye on his situation.

Manchester United and Arsenal have previously been linked with the 22-year-old, while there is also said to be interest from Germany in the shape of Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach.

According to The Sun, Everton have contacted Norwich to discuss the Englishman, with Toffees boss Frank Lampard keen to bring him to Goodison Park.

Aarons, who has two years left to run on his contract at Carrow Road, has made 165 appearances for Norwich during his professional career, scoring five times and contributing 15 assists.

Elsewhere, Newcastle United are reportedly among the English clubs to be offered the chance to sign Andrea Belotti on a free transfer this summer.

The 28-year-old is currently a free agent, with his contract at Torino expiring at the end of June.

According to The Sun, Belotti has been offered to Newcastle, while Everton and West Ham have also been contacted over a possible move for the Italy international.

The Italian enjoyed a strong 2021-22 campaign at club level, scoring eight times and registering one assist in 23 appearances in all competitions, while he netted 113 goals and registered 28 assists in 251 appearances for Torino before his departure.

Meanwhile, according to the Evening Standard, Chelsea are closing in on a deal for highly-rated youngster Zak Sturge.

The 18-year-old will be leaving Brighton & Hove Albion this summer, and a number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the defender.

However, the report claims that the Blues have won the race for the teenager, who would initially turn out for Chelsea Under-23s with the view to progressing to the first team in the future.

Brighton could allegedly receive in the region of £500,000 in compensation for the England Under-18s international. body check tags ::
