West Bromwich Albion have reportedly revived their interest in Manchester United's Darren Fletcher following news that the midfielder's proposed move to West Ham United has broken down.
The 30-year-old seemed poised for a switch to Upton Park this weekend, but the two parties could not agree personal terms to see the deal called off at the final hurdle.
United have agreed to let the long-serving player leave the club for free before Monday evening's transfer deadline, and the Daily Mail claims that Tony Pulis is keen to bring the experienced Scotland international to The Hawthorns.
It has been suggested that West Ham were only interested in taking Fletcher on loan until the end of the season, but the Red Devils want the midfielder off their books on a permanent basis.
Fletcher, who is out of contract in the summer, has made 12 appearances in all competitions under the management of Louis van Gaal.
