Sports Mole brings you live FA Cup coverage where Mansfield Town host Oldham Athletic for a spot in third round against Premier League Liverpool.

Mansfield Town host Oldham Athletic at Field Mill on Tuesday night for their FA Cup second round replay.

Having drawn the first time around at the home of the League One outfit, the two meet again for a place in the third round of the competition and a trip to Premier League giants Liverpool.

The match gets underway at 7.45pm.

Good evening and welcome to Sports Mole's live coverage of the FA Cup, where Mansfield Town host Oldham Athletic in their second-round replay.
It's a massive game at Field Mill between two teams that couldn't be separated earlier this month. The League Two outfit Mansfield travelled to a team one division higher than them and earned a 1-1 draw at Boundary Park to force this match.
The stakes are high for many reasons. Not only will the winner of this match advance to the third round of the world's oldest club competition, but they will also be rewarded with a trip to face Premier League giants Liverpool at Anfield. There aren't many bigger incentives to win than that.
Team news in a moment, but let's have a look at how both sides got to this stage.
League Two team Mansfield eased past the first stage by thrashing Southern Football League side St Albans City 8-1 away from home, before they rescued a replay at Oldham earlier this month.
Oldham drew their first match with fellow League One outfit Wolves at Boundary Park, before winning the replay in midlands. That lead them to drawing at home with Mansfield; setting up tonight's clash.
Ok, on to the teams.
MANSFIELD XI: Marriott, Westlake, Dempster, Riley, Daniel, Meikle, Murray, McGuire, Clucas, Hutchinson, Dyer
Manager Paul Cox has decided to make just one alteration coming off the back of their 0-0 draw at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
Striker Ben Hutchinson returns to the side from injury in favour of midfielder Anthony Howell, who is named on the bench. Meanwhile, Chris Clements has also recovered from a spell on the sidelines, but will start among the substitutes.
Speaking of which, here are Cox's options.
MANSFIELD BENCH: Deakin, Beevers, Briscoe, Clements, Howell, Rhead, Palmer
And now for the away side.
OLDHAM XI: Oxley, Tarkowski, Mellor, Smith, Kusunga, Grounds, Philliskirk, Wesolowski, Clarke-Harris, Rooney, Petrasso
Lee Johnson has made one change to his Oldham side off the back of their 1-0 loss at Brentford at the weekend.
The alteration comes in attack where Adam Rooney replaces Ellis Plummer.
And on to the bench.
OLDHAM BENCH: Brown, Winchester, Rodgers, Lanzoni, Millar, Plummer, Rachubka
The two teams are in the tunnel are readying to enter the field.
Neither side goes into this match in amazing form. Mansfield's victory over St Albans back in early November has proved their only win since the end of September. Meanwhile, Oldham are yet to emerge triumphant in December.
The teams are out at a cold Field Mill, and we're ready for this cup tie.
Mansfield are sporting their home kit of yellow shirts, blue shorts and yellow socks, while Oldham line up in their second strip of pink shirts with black shorts and socks.
KICK OFF! Oldham, playing from right to left, get the match underway.
Both sides have been struggling this year. They are four points above the relegation zone and could do with a victory here that would kick-start their campaign.
This game should feature a real clash of styles. Mansfield are a bigger, far more physical team. On the other hand, Oldham tend to try to keep the ball on the deck and pass it around.
Not a lot going on at the moment as both sides try to find their feet.
Wesolowski has the first effort on goal, but he cannot test Marriott in the Oldham goal.
Oldham are starting to take control and are seeing more of the ball. A neat passing move forward results in a corner, but they cannot create a chace from it.
Wesolowski is down are receiving treatment after taking a nasty headbutt/forearm in the air against Jamie McGuire. The referee doesn't even award a yellow card to the Mansfield man, despite the fact that it looked a horrible challenge.
The game has continued, but Oldham are temporarily down to 10 men.
The last time these two teams met was 10 years ago, when three players were sent off! The tackles are flying in early on here tonight as well.
GOAL! Mansfield Town 1-0 Oldham Athletic (Ross Dyer)
Lovely goal from the hosts to take the lead. Clucas has the ball in a busy penalty area and spin before flicking a pass to Meikle on the left of the box. He drills a high cross to Dyer at the near post, and it's met with a diving header and crashes into the top corner. Great move.
Over to Oldham for a response now, and they have the chance to do that here. They have a free kick, slightly left of centre, from about 30 yards out.
That's poor from Clarke-Harris. He fancies a go at goal and tries to curl it around the wall and into the corner, but he pretty much passes it straight to the goalkeeper Marriott.
It looks as if Mansfield are being forced into an early change as Hutchinson is down.
MANSFIELD CHANGE Ben Hutchinson cannot continue and he is replaced by Chris Clements.
Oldham have a corner from the left which is clipped into the far post, but Dempster can head it behind for another corner.
It comes to nothing once again, and Mansfield can clear the danger.
The eye of Wesolowski, who needed treatment earlier, looks to be shutting following his clash with McGuire. I think he's going to be coming off.
CHANCE! Mansfield have a great opportunity for a second as the ball drops on the left of the box to Clucas. But he rushes his shot and it spurns away from the target.
OLDHAM CHANGE Now both sides have been forced into an early substitution. Wesolowski comes off, with Carl Winchester coming on.
Rooney goes down the left and whips a dangerous low ball into the penalty area, but no Oldham player can get on the end of it.
CLOSE! So nearly an equaliser for the visitors. A cross from the left is nodded down at the far post by Rooney to the edge of the box. Petrasso races to meet it and whacks it on the bounce, but smashes it just wide of the right post.
Oldham are on top once again, but haven't been able to test Marriott.
Still no real chances over the past number of minutes, Oldham still in control.
Smith makes his way into the box for the visitors, but his shot comes to nothing.
Petrasco weaves his way into the box before creating some space to shoot n. He hits it towards the bottom corner, but Dempster comes out of nowhere to slide in and make the block.
Since the goal, Mansfield have barely been in the Oldham half, and the gulf in league stature is starting to show. However, it's the League Two club who are still leading.
There will be three minutes of added time.
HALF TIME: Mansfield Town 1-0 Oldham Athletic
There's the half-time whistle, and Mansfield are 45 minutes away from a date at Anfield as things stand.
Ross Dyer's goal in the 12th minute is what separates the two sides. Since that strike, it's been pretty much all Oldham. Yet, the League Two outfit lead.
The players are back out and ready for the second half.
KICK OFF! Mansfield, playing to the left, get the game back underway.
Lee Johnson made his second chance for Oldham during half time. Kusunga was replaced at the back by Lanzoni.
Oldham has started this half the better, but haven't been able to create a clear chance. Mansfield getting back into it now though.
It's been a fairly dull start to the second half so far. Neither side seems overly bothered if I'm honest, despite the fact that there is a tie at Liverpool at stake.
CLOSE! Almost 2-0. Meikle skips down the left flank before cutting in on his right foot. He feigns a shot and leaves two defenders on the floor before curling a dipping effort towards the far post. However it takes a deflection of the head of the defender and creeps just wide.
YELLOW CARD Chance for Oldham with a free kick inside the D. Colin Daniel is booked for a poor challenge. Meaty to say the least.
GOAL! Mansfield Town 1-1 Oldham Athletic (Danny Philliskirk)
Wow, what a way to draw your side level. The free kick is right in the centre of the D, and Philliskirk steps up from the left and whacks it in the top right corner with his right foot. No chance for Marriott. Game on.
Oldham have all the current momentum. They've had a succession of corners, and it really is backs against the wall time for the hosts.
GOAL! Mansfield Town 1-2 Oldham Athletic (Johnson Clarke-Harris)
And just like that, Oldham are in front. Petrasso wriggles his way into the centre of the of the field, just outside the Mansfield box, before sliding a brilliant little pass into the path of Clarke-Harris on the left of the area. He takes a touch before smashing it low into the back of the net to put his side in front.
What can Mansfield do now? They have been second best throughout this game and have proved unable to hang on to their lead.
While both teams were beaten by Liverpool in the FA Cup last season, Oldham were knocked out in controversial fashion after a goal where Luis Suarez appeared to handle the ball. How they'd love a chance to get some revenge.
MANSFIELD CHANGES Matt Rhead and Ollie Palmer are on to replace captain Adam Murray and Meikle.
Nightmare for Paul Cox, having just made his final changes, Westlake is down injury and is struggling.
Westlake has come off the field with the physio and is trying to shake off the knock. I think he will come back on.
Mansfield are having a go at the Oldham goal now, but cannot break down a solid backline.
YELLOW CARD Johnson Clarke-Harris has a booking to go with his goal after a bit of an overly-aggressive approach to a tackle.
GOAL! Mansfield Town 1-3 Oldham Athletic (Matteo Lanzoni)
Surely there is no way back for the hosts now? Philliskirk curls in a beautiful corner for the left, and Lanzoni loses his marker before nodding in a power header at the near post. Oldham are surely on their way to Liverpool.
CLOSE! Clements comes a whisker away from pulling one back for Mansfield. They have a free kick 20 yards from goal to the left of the D, and Clements steps up and bends it just wide of the near post.
PENALTY AND RED CARD!
The night goes from bad to worse for Mansfield. A shot is cannoned into the box, where John Dempster blocks the ball deliberately with his hand. He gets sent off, and Oldham could get a fourth from 12 yards.
GOAL! Mansfield Town 1-4 Oldham Athletic (Adam Rooney)
No way back for Mansfield now, and Oldham are off to Anfield. Rooney steps up and snaps the ball into the bottom left corner, sending Marriott the wrong way. Game over.
OLDHAM CHANGE Anton Rodgers, who is the son of Liverpool boss Brendan, is coming on Korey Smith. He'll face his dad in the next round.
Mansfield having given up now, and Oldham are looking the more likely to score.
Winchester shoots from range but it was always moving away from the target.
There will be four minutes of added time.
CHANCE! Rooney nearly makes it five but first the ball over the bar from a tight angle on the left. Brilliant build-up play from Philliskirk.
FULL TIME: Mansfield Town 1-4 Oldham Athletic
Now that's how you pull off a comeback. Having been a goal down at the break, Oldham have smashed Mansfield in the second half to cruise through to the third round and will now face Liverpool at Anfield in January.
Dyer had given Mansfield the lead early on, but goals from Philliskirk, Clarke-Harris, Lanzoni and Rooney did the trick for Oldham.
So just to clarify, it will be Liverpool vs. Oldham Athletic in the third round of the FA Cup over the first weekend in January.
Well that's it from me. Thanks for stopping by.
