Marseille are reportedly planning to announce the signing of Napoli midfielder Jonathan de Guzman on Wednesday.
According to La Provence, the 27-year-old's transfer will be a permanent move rather than a loan deal with an option to buy, as was reported earlier this week.
The Dutchman was left out of the Italian side's squad for their recent friendly against Porto and it is believed that De Guzman will arrive in France within the next 48 hours.
The former Swansea star made 36 appearances in all competitions for Napoli last season, scoring seven goals.
De Guzman has also played 14 times for the Netherlands and was a part of Louis van Gaal's squad for the 2014 World Cup.
