Melbourne Victory have been held to a 1-1 draw by Perth Glory in the A-League.
Guilherme Finkler had given Victory the half-time advantage, but Darvydas Sernas struck five minutes into the second half to earn his side a share of the spoils.
After an uneventful opening 30 minutes, Melbourne were handed an opportunity to take the lead when Archie Thompson was brought down in the penalty area, which allowed Finkler to step up to convert the spot kick.
However, five minutes after the break, Lithuanian player Darvydas Sernas, who is a recent signing for Glory, netted with his second touch of the ball after being introduced as a substitute.
The home side had the better of the final 20 minutes, and despite an impressive showing from Sernas, he couldn't help his new team find a winner.
