Middlesbrough left-back George Friend has insisted that he is trying not to think about the huge amount of money that will come his club's way if they win today's Championship playoff final at Wembley.
This afternoon's clash between Boro and Norwich City has £120m and a place in the Premier League riding on it.
While Friend admits that it's hard to completely ignore the fact that today's showdown is the richest game in football, the 27-year-old is trying to focus on the job at hand.
"You don't think about the millions riding on the game," the Daily Star quotes Friend as saying. "You concentrate on your job and not letting your teammates down.
"Of course, you can't hide the fact there's so much money involved. Hopefully, if and when we go up, there'll be a lot more money but we can't worry about that now."
Middlesbrough have beaten Norwich twice already this season.
