Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka has criticised his side's failure to find a response against Fulham's defensive gameplan in Saturday's goalless stalemate at the Riverside Stadium.
Boro slipped to third in the Championship table - four points behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion - after the draw, and were unable to win at home for only the second time this term.
Karanka told BBC Sport: "It's a game we didn't play well in. They came here to not play because they wasted time from the first second.
"We didn't change or play in our style. I'm disappointed because it's important to win the games at home."
Up next for Boro is a trip to Cardiff City on Tuesday.
