Aitor Karanka has praised his Middlesbrough side after they bounced back from a disappointing midweek result with victory in the Championship today.
Boro responded to Tuesday's 1-1 draw with lowly Blackpool by defeating resurgent Fulham 2-0 at the Riverside this afternoon.
"The most important thing is that we are improving," he told the club website after today's game.
"My concern is when we lose points in the way we did against Blackpool. I said after that game if we want to be high in the league we can't lose those points.
"Today was different to Tuesday – all of our players were very, very good."
Three points today saw Boro climb into the Championship's top six and extend their unbeaten league run to six games. They next travel to Brighton & Hove Albion after the two-week international break.
